Ben Greensmith

Hello! My name is Ben Greensmith and I'm an indie game developer from Leamington Spa, UK. I've been making games for over 20 years as a hobby and I'm currently working on my first commercial project.

My first experience with game development was my mum explaining how her and my grandma used to type code from magazines into their Amstrad and make things like trains go across the screen puffing smoke.

I remember being fascinated by the whole process and when I was a little older I got my hands on Klik and Play and never looked back - I've been making games ever since.

Over the years I've gone from Klik and Play, The Games Factory and Multimedia Fusion to learning things like DarkBASIC and Adventure Game Studio. More recently I picked up Unity and dabbled a little bit in Unreal before settling on Godot as my engine of choice.
